Sitcoms versus Hard News

Do you find yourself watching really funny older sitcoms on cable as opposed to being caught up in the awful and frustrating news we are hearing? I am now into How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Sunshine in Philadelphia and some other entry with the talented David Spade. In doing so my mood is up, I am laughing for a change and not as frustrated with Washington. The shows incidentaly are superbly acted, produced and directed and quite addictive in a nice way.

When the heat subsides I may go back to the panels and the arguing but who knows, I may choose to remain in comedy world, a blissful escape into oblivion.
